Pelvic Health assessment

       What I treat:

  • Stress urinary incontinence - Leaking with activity or when coughing, sneezing and laughing

  • Urge urinary incontinence - Desperate urge to pass urine and not always making it to the bathroom on time

  • Overactive bladder

  • Constipation

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Pelvic pain

  • Pain or discomfort during intercourse

  • Persistent perineal or vulval pain

  • Menopausal symptoms

  • Faecal incontinence

  • Endometriosis

  • Coccyx pain

What to expect during your initial assessment

  • Detailed history taking

  • Postural and movement assessment

  • Pelvic floor examination external and possibly internal. This is something we discuss and is patient led. 

  • Summary of my findings, initial advice and recommendations with a treatment plan 

Follow up consultations vary and depend on an individuals presentation and circumstances.
